We know visiting a new church for the first time can be a little intimidating. But at Central Baptist Church, we want your visit to be encouraging, spirit-filled, and completely stress-free. Everyone is welcome here, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

What to Expect on Sunday Morning

1. Dress Code: Come As You Are

Whether you feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, casual desert wear, or a suit and dress, you will fit right in. We focus on the heart, not the wardrobe.

2. Warm Welcome & Refreshments

When you arrive, just come on in and make yourself at home. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee and connect in the meeting room before the service begins.

3. Worship & Biblical Teaching

Our Sunday gathering includes:

• Music: We focus less on song selection and more on expressing love for God.
• Prayer & Fellowship: Times of private and public prayer and mutual encouragement.
• The Word: Engaging, verse-by-verse teaching directly from scripture with practical application for daily life in 2026.

Families & Kids

We love families! Children are streams of water in the desert to us and are always welcome in our service. We do not currently offer any other programming for children, as we encourage families to worship together with the community.

Location, Parking & Directions

Central Baptist Church is located at the northwest corner of Woodland and 5th Street (just west of Craycroft Road) in central Tucson.

• Address: 5353 E Fifth Street, Tucson, AZ 85711
• Parking: Ample parking is available directly on site right in front of the sanctuary building. Accessible parking spaces are located right by the main entrance.
